While reading at school today, this really stuck out to me and meant a lot. Whenever we think we aren't able to make a difference, God thinks much differently. He'll choose the most unsuspecting of people to get his work done. Just look at David and Goliath. David surely was not bigger in size or greater in strength, but he had amour more powerful than anything Goliath could have brought upon him; the power of God!
27But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29so that no one may boast before him. |
