When you have any indication that whatever you're going to get into goes against gods word stop and eliminate whatever is holding back your relationship with God. There is no instant satisfaction that we get caught up with that can even compare to the grace of God. Money, girls, shiny wheels, all things that everybody these days rap about, never even compare to God. Not one but. They praise tangible things that breed death while inside you know there is no way they can feel good about themselves, and the only way they can fill that huge void in their lives is by salvation through way of the one and only God, Jesus Christ. I realized as I gave up things that comprimised my faith I didn't even have to give them up, rather god changed my interests so I didn't even desire them anymore. You don't have to "clean up your sins" for Jesus, as many of us think, because he will change us.
Paul Wright illustrates this issue of "walking by her door" which I'm sure we can all relate to. That sin that tuggs and pulls at us, and just when we think we can't overcome it, Jesus shows up.
