Theme to Consider:
Joy has nothing to do with our circumstances. According t Paul, if you believe to Christ, then you can have joy in suffering, joy in serving, joy and believing, and joy in giving. That's reason to rejoice.
Life Lessons:
1: Salvation is only the first step in God's amazing plan for your life. (1:6).
2: Your attitude toward other people--especially toward other believers--should identify you as a Christian (2:1-4,14-15).
3: Learn to be content with what you have (4:12).
4: The fact that God's the strength flows through you means you're capable of a lot more than you will ever realize (4:13).
